From Singapore to Chennai...
 Bharatanatyam dancer Sreelatha Vinod performs this evening at Narada Gana Sabha. Last week, Sreelatha, along with dancer Unnikrishnan presented a duet performance to a houseful audience at Kalakshetra. They narrated the story of the well known epic, 'Silappathikaram'.
This show choreographed by Sreelatha, premiered at Narada Gana Sabha's thematic dance festival in 2003. And the show, still looked fresh last weekend. The music was scored by Hariprasad and Prof. Raghuraman had penned the additional lyrics.
Sreelatha, a senior sishya of the Dhananjayans, shuttles between Singapore and Chennai and trains students at Antara Centre for Performing Arts here.
