Honours for flautist N. Ramani
The 104 year-old Parthasarathy Swami Sabha inaugrated its annual music festival on Dec. 16. The title of 'Sangeetha Kala Sarathy' was conferred on flute maestro N. Ramani, by Ramanuja Azhagiya Manavala Jeer Swamigal.
A new audio CD, featuring violinist Kunnakudi Vaidhyanathan, was also released by the Swamigal and the first copy was received by actor Vivek.
Following the inauguration, a violin concert by Kunnakudi R. Vaidhyanathan. Kutcheris at 'Vidya Bharathi', Bheemasena Garden Road, (Near Jammi Building) Mylapore.
