Mudhra honours T.V.G
Mudhra hosts its 10th fine arts festival from December 15 to 25, 2004 at Freedom Hall, Nungambakkam, Chennai. The Mudhra Award of Excellence will be given to musician T.V. Gopalakrishnan on the inaugural day.

Directory of musicians
Mudhra has also released a directory and diary for 2005 that comes along with a year-planner. This was released on 14 November on the occasion of Samudhra magazine’s 2nd anniversary. The book contains a list of names, addresses, phone numbers of musicians of all categories (vocal, flute, violin, veena, vocal, keyboard, mrudangam, ghatam, kanjira etc.), harikatha performers, bhajan groups, music organistaions, cassette shops, instrument makers, music scholars and critics, music institutions etc.
The directory also has names and addresses of about 1200 rasikas, a few dancers and drama troupes. The book priced at Rs.100 is available at Saptaswara Musicals, Sruthilaya (Mylapore), Murali Musicals(T.Nagar), Karnatic Music Book Centre (Royapettah) and at Mudhra’s office, 118 A Ramanaicken Street, Nungambakkam, Chennai - 34.
