The Indian Fine Arts Society will hold the valedictory function of its 72nd South Indian muisc conference on Jan. 4, 2005 at Balamandir German Hall, T. Nagar.

Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram will preside over and confer the title of 'Natya Kalashikamani' on senior dancer Lakshmi Viswanathan. A dance-drama, 'Sri Thyagaraja' will be presented by Lakshmi Viswanathan after the function.
