Homage to MS
 A unique homage is to be paid to the late M. S. Subbulakshmi who passed away last Saturday. All cultural organisations in Chennai have put their hands together to organise this function at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore, on December 26.
The event will begin with short bhajan concerts by well known vocalists, Sudha Raghunathan, 'Bombay' Jayashree and S. Sowmya.
This will be followed by tributes paid by different personalities - The Hindu's Editor-in-chief, N. Ram, dramatist 'Cho' Ramaswamy, business executive Seshasayee, Dr. S. S. Badrinath, journalist Gowri Ramnarayan and many others.
The event will end with a screening of clips of songs sequences from the films which starred MS, which will be arranged by 'Vintage Heritage'.
