Honours for E. Gaayathri
The Mylapore Fine Arts opened its 53rd year Art Festival on December 11. On the inaugural day, veena artiste E. Gaayathri was honoured with the title of 'Sangeetha Kala Nipuna'. Also on this occasion, prizes were distributed to the winners of the music competitions and a dance recital featured Gita Kasturi of Bombay.
