The Mylapore Fine Arts Club hosts its 53rd year Art Festival from December 11, 2004 to January 15, 2005.

On the inaugural day, veena artiste E. Gaayathri will be honoured with the title of 'Sangeetha Kala Nipuna'. Also on this occasion, prizes will be distributed to the winners of the music competitions and a dance recital will feature Gita Kasturi of Bombay.
