Aygiri Nandini dance drama
Dance couple Gayathri and Balagurunathan present a new dance drama, 'Aygiri Nandini' on January 5, 2005 at Kalakshetra's auditorium, Thiruvanmiyur. Featuring students of various dance schools in Chennai, the dance-drama narrates stories of Devi - Parvati, Myilai Karpagambal, Madurai Meenakshi, Abhiraami amman and Chamundeshwari.
The lyrics are by Va.Ve.Subramaniam and the music has been scored by O.S.Arun. This dance drama will also be presented at the Mylapore Festival near Kapaleeswarar temple on January 8.
