R.R. Sabha honours Nadaswara vidwan
Rasika Ranjani Sabha hosts its annual music fest from December 22, 2004. And this year, the sabha changes its venue since its heritage Sundareswarar hall is being pulled down for renovation. The fest this year will be hosted at Dakshinamurthy auditorium, P.S. High School campus, R.K. Mutt Road, Mylapore, Chennai.
The sabha confers the title of 'Kala Ratna' on Nadaswara vidwan Sembanarkoil S.R.D. Vaidyanathan on the inaugural day.
The award carries a cash component of Rs. 25, 000.
