Sruthi Laya Kendra hosts fest

Sruthi Laya Kendra and Sruthi Laya Kendra Natarajaalaya, jointly hosts their 16th Music Festival 2003 from Dec. 14 to 19, at Asthiga Samajam, Venus Colony, Alwarpet, Chennai.

On the inaugural day 'Sri Guru Surajananda Award' will be presented to violin vidwan M. Chandrasekaran and 'Gowrimanohari Award' to villupattu artiste Subbu Arumugam. The programme begins at 2.15 pm with a vocal concert of M. Balamuralikrishna followed by O.S.Thiagarajan at 4 pm, the award function and a vocal concert by Bombay Sisters at 7.30 pm.
