Padams and Javalis on CD

Vocalist Subhashini Parthasarathy has recently released two audio albums. Sung by Subhashini, 'Padams and Javalis' features 14 compositions in Thamizh, commonly performed by dancers.

A student of T.Mukta, Subhashini has reaearched on padams and javalis. These compositional forms figure in music and dance concerts. The Cd released by Giri Trading is priced at Rs. 125/-.

Another album 'Muraleedhara' features Thamizh songs on various deities by different composers.

Released by Abirami, CDs are priced at Rs. 90 and cassettes at Rs. 45.
