Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan opens fest

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Kala Kendra, Chennai inaugurated its annual music and dance fest on 25 November, 2003 at Bhavan's Sri Venkata Auditorium, Chennai.

Dhiru S. Mehta, Executive Secretary and Director General, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai inaugurated thefest. Justice K.S. Bakthavatsalam, Chairman, Bhavan's Chennai Kendra presided.

The music fest is on till 7 December. The dance fest will be held from December 8 to 14. Concerts will be held at 5 pm and 6.30 pm daily.

'Nritta Makarandam', a seminar on dance will also be held from December 8 to 14. Two lec-dems will be presented each day at 10 am and 11 am.
