Flood of online eoncerts as Covid situation eases

For some time now, rasikas and artistes are tuning into a new facet of life - forced on them by Covid time developments.
Artistes in Chennai and in Bengaluru and in Kochi are webcasting their music either in collaboration with private bodies or arts organisations. And rasikas who cannot live without listening to music put out 'live' and denied the sabha experience are tuning.
In fact, besides concerts workshops, dance/music lessons and lec-dems are now being offered online. So much so that invitations for concerts are choc-a-bloc.
Some arts promotion bodies like Arkay Centre in Chennai have dipped into their archives and put out these concerts.
And as pandemic regulations eased in October, some bodies like Naada Inbam in Chennai and Ananya in Bengaluru have started beaming live concerts from their concert stages, featuring well-known artistes.
