Chennai Sabhas plan for 'online' December Season

Chennai's sabhas begin to make their first plans for the annual December Season in July/August. This year, it was not going to be the usual routine. Because of the extraordinary conditions created by the Covid pandemic.
With live performances in halls disallowed as per regulations, and no positive signs of a sunny side in a somewhat chilly December, sabha teams had to think differently.
And they have decided that going online is the best option.
They seem to be encouraged by the fair number of online concerts that artistes and some arts bodies have been streaming in their own capacity the last few weeks.
So one can expect a only online December Season. Even the Music Academy is opting for only-online festival of concerts, and that too only music.
