The Music Academy gets research centre status

 

The Music Academy at T.T.K. Road, has been awarded the status of a research centre for Carnatic music by Tumkur University, Karnataka.

Researchers can now enroll for PhD under the guidance of stalwarts of this field.

The academy has been conducting a three year diploma course under its Advanced School of Carnatic Music.
