For rasikas who want to know a little bit more on Carnatic music and appreciate classical concerts, The Music Academy, Chennai has organised a day-long workshop on music appreciation.

This workshop will be conducted by vocalist T. M. Krishna on Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The workshop is meant for musically inclined people who want to understand the nuances of Carnatic music, say the organisers. Children below 12 are not permitted.

The registration fee is Rs. 100 per person, and is open from October 1 on a first-come-first-served basis.
