Well known nadaswaram vidwan and artiste S. R. G. Sambandam, the senior of the famed Semponnarkoil Brothers passed away on July 25 in Chennai. He was 91. Sambandam along with his brother S R G Rajanna played in concerts in India and abroad. He was decorated with many awards including the Kalaimamani award given by the Tamil Nadu government.
