Amarajeevi Potti Sreeramulu Memorial Society in Chennai is hosting a music competition.

Sankeertanams (devotinal songs) in Telugu that are the compositions of music composers Thyagarja, Annamacharya and Bhakta Ramdas can be rendered.

The event is to be at 215, Royapettah High Road, Mylapore on August 8 at 9.30 a.m.

A minimum of 5 and a maximum of 7 participants can form a group. Contestants are divided into groups class-wise.

The society also intends conducting competitions in Telugu in poetry reading, quiz, oratory, folk, devotional and patriotic songs at this premises. Register before July 31.
