Advanced training in Carnatic vocal music
 

Swami Haridhoss Giri School of Music run by Narada Gana Sabha Trust, in Chennai, India invites applications for the new academic year (2010-2011) for advanced training in Carnatic vocal from students who have already undergone 3 to 4 years of training in vocal music and who aspire to become performing artists.

Students who are able to devote time for learning and sustained practice of Carnatic vocal music and who are focused on a music career will be given preference.

Application forms which can be had from the Sabha office may be completed and submitted by 25th April 2010.

The two eminent teachers C.R. Vaidyanathan and Dr. Jayalakshmi, under the guidance of vidwan P.S. Narayanaswami, Hon. Director of the school will be coaching the students, says R. Krishnaswami, Secretary, Narada Gana Sabha

Swami Haridhoss Giri School of Music has completed one year and the anniversary day is being celebrated on 25th April evening with a vocal concert by two groups of students of the school.
