The Gati Forum announces the launch of the 2nd Gati Summer Dance Residency (GSDR) from 2 May – 11 July, 2010 in New Delhi.
GSDR is an annual choreography residency that provides emerging choreographers from classical and contemporary background, with the unique opportunity to create and stage their own performance with guidance from senior mentors in the field.
GSDR invites emerging choreographers in India working within the classical and / or contemporary dance fields to submit a proposal for the creation of a new choreographic work. Successful applicants will each receive financial
support together with access to individual mentoring, workshops and production assistance to create their performances.
The mentors for Gati Summer Dance Residency 2010 are Maya Krishna Rao, Anusha Lall & Amitesh Grover
The residency will terminate with a public showing on 9 July, 2010 in New Delhi.
The last date for submitting applications is 8 March, 2010.
