The saint Thyagaraja Aradhana in Tiruvaiyaru will be
inaugurated on January 2 evening at a pandal near his samadhi. Concerts will held from
dawn to late night till January 6, featuring top notch, up and coming as well as music students from all over.

They offer their musical tribute for about 10 to 20 minutes on stage.

The mass singing of the pancharatana kritis of the composer will be held at about
8.45 a.m on Jan. 5. Admission is free and though the aradhana has now become a mela of sorts iat is still a unique musical event.
