Sri Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer Golden Jubilee Foundation would be conducting competition in vocal Carnatic music for persons in the age group of 15 to 22 years on the 18th of July from 10 a.m. at the Raga Sudha Hall, Luz Avenue, Chennai 600004.

Participants should posses knowledge of at least five kritis of St.Thiagaraja, five Kritis of Swati Tirunal, three kritis of Muthuswami Deekshitar and two of other composers. They should be proficient in raga alapana, neraval and kalpana swara singing.
