Award for dancer Padma Subrahmanyam
 

Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha, Chennai is celebrating a month long Dance festival from Jan. 16 till Feb. 14, 2009.

On the concluding day on Feb. 14, senior Bharatnatyam dancer Padma Subrahmanyam will be conferred with the title Natya Kalasarathy.

Dancers Prof. Sudharani Raghupathy and Chitra Visweswaran will felicitate the awardee. The function follows with a Bharatnatyam recital of Divya Kasturi.

Also, the Best performers of December Music festival will be awarded certificates and momentos.

The event will be held at Mylapore Fine Arts Club Hall, at 6.15 p.m.
