Chennai based newspaper The Hindu with its arts supplement Friday
Review has been holding November Music Festival from the year 2005.
This year the festival will be held from November 14 to 23, 2008.
A variety of music concerts - Carnatic, Hindustani, Jazz and Old
Hindi melodies are among the events of the festival.
Bombay Jayashree and T. M. Krishna will present a programme Susvara
Samyuta on possibilities of 'conversing' together.
There is also jazz and acoustic groove from Germany, with the trio,
Thomas Siffling, Jens Loh and Markus Faller.
Tickets are priced at Rs. 500, Rs. 300 and Rs. 150. Season passes
are available for Rs.2500 and Rs.1500.

Academy (between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.), Landmark (Nungambakkam,
Spencer Plaza and Chennai Citi Centre) and The Hindu Office, 859-860

Three concerts by young artistes on the theme 'And The Raga Flows
On' will be held on Nov. 19.
High Tide by vocalists K. Gayatri and Ranjani Hebbar and veena
artiste T. Bhavani Prasad at 5 - 6 pm
Deep Sea by vocalists V. Sumithra and Nanditha Ravi at 6.15 - 7.15
pm Cascade by vocalist Sandeep Narayan and flautist Vijayagopal at
7.30 - 8.30 pm.
