The well-known and much appreciated dance productions by Padma Subrahmanyam like Krishnaya Tubhyam Namaha and Jaya Jaya Sankara are now available on DVDs.

Swathi Soft Solutions, a chennai based music and dance audio / video producer has brought out the live performances of Padma Subrahmanyam in a set of seven DVDs.

The release of the DVDs and the launch of Padma's website www.padmadance.com was held on the Vijayadasami day ob Oct. 9, 2008 in Chennai.

N. Murali, Managing Director, The Hindu and the president, The Music Academy, Madras released the DVDs and three audio CDs.

Srivatsa Jayarama Sarma, scholar and discourse exponent, V. V. Sundaram, Sukhi Sivam, orator, Crazy Mohan, theatre artist, L. Sabaretnam, industrialist, S. Gurumurthy, Krishnakumari Narendran, dancer received the first copies of the DVDs.

The DVDs include Jaya Jaya Sankara, Bhagavad Gita, Paripadal mudal Bharati Varai, Krishnaya Tubhyam Namaha, Ramaya Tubhyam Namaha, Sangamam and Meenakshi Kalyanam.

Commentaries in five Languages English, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu are available on the DVDs. In Telugu Dr. Pappu Venugopala Rao has presented commentaries, In Malayalam Dr K.G. Paulose, in Kannada 'Satavadhani' Dr R. Ganesh, in Tamil Lakshmi Ravichander and Saraswathi Krishnakumar and in English Madhuvanthi Arun have presented.

The set of seven DVDs is priced at Rs. 4000.
