The Executivee Committee of The Music Academy, at its meeting held on August 17 has decided to confer the following awards at the 82nd annusl conference of The Music Academy to be held from December 15 to January 1
The title Sangita Kala Acharya will be confered on Vidwan Mavelikkara K.Velukutty Nair and guru Sarada Hoffman.
Vidwan Annavarappu Ramaswamy and vidwan Palai C. K. Ramachandran will receive the TTK Awards for Excellence.
Dr. S. A. K. Durga will be confered the musicologist award. The awards will be confered at the Sadas on January 1, 2009
