The event is organised in association with the three premier music institutions of Chennai – Kalakshetra, The Adyar Government Music College and The Teachers College of Music, The Music Academy.

"Through this event, we wish to expose music students to more programmes, both educative and fun. This also gives students of music an opportunity to meet and interact with each other and enjoy the experience. Every programme will be very interactive in nature giving the students an opportunity to ask questions and learn from many great artistes," say the organisers.

There will be a photograph exhibition dedicating each day to different artistes - this is put up by Sruti Foundation - movie screening of films and documentaries on the legends of Carnatic music and PowerPoint presentations consisting of rare photographs and manuscripts of great musicians.
