The Thanjavur-based Sri Thyagabrahma Sabha is hosting a music festival from June 20 to 26 at the well known landmark, Besant Lodge, in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. All the kutcheris will be held in the evenings and they have been sponsored by banks and other institutions in this region.

The inauguration on June 20 evening is by S. N. M. Ubayadhullah Tamil Nadu state minister for commercial taxes in the presence of G. Swaminathan former Dy. Chairman, Rajya Sabha.

The mangala isai concert is by Kalahasthi N. K.Subramaniam and Cholavaram N. Venkatesan – nadaswaram, Malaikottai S. Senthilkumar, Ammapettai M. Parthiban and Tiruchi B. V. Raman – special tavil

On June 21, Gayathri Girish presents a vocal concert.

In June 22, Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee Kalyanapuram R. Aravamudachariar and party present a Harikatha on the theme ‘Thyagaraja Vaibhavam’.

On June 23 evening, 'Thevaram – Divyaprabandham' is the focus of the concert by Bhavadharini Anantharaman.

On June 24, N. Vijay Siva presents a concert while on June 25, the concert is a violin duet by A. Kanyakumari and L. Ramakrishnan.

For the finale, S. Balasubramanian, Chairman & Chief Executive, City Union Bank Ltd, Kumbakonam will be the chief guest.
That evening, the Tiruchi Sisters - Usha Nandhini and Jaya Sujitha – present a Mohiniattam performance. 'Nalli' Kuppuswami Chetti is the chief patron of this Sabha. V. Kannan is the president and K. Padmanabhan is the honorary secretary.
