Chennai Shanthi Arts Foundation and Endowments (SAFE), a cultural and charitable organisation holds Ragam -
Thanam - Pallavi competition every year to encourage young musicians to present pallavis, which requires advanced training in music.
This year the competition will be held on Aug.2 and 3.
This competition is open to professional and non-professional vocalists, violinists and mridangam artistes between 15 and 30 years of age. Separate prizes will be given in the three categories respectively.
