Dasyam Trust, run by Mohiniattam dancer Gopika Varma presented Swathi Nruthyolsavam - dance festival in Chennai recently. The dance fest dedicated to Maharaja Swathi Tirunal was held at Sri Anantha Padmanabhaswamy temple, Adyar Chennai from July 22 to 28.

Justice S. Mohan inaugurated the festival. The programme was organised by dancer Gopika Varma, managing trustee of Dasyam, jointly with the Dharma Paripalana Sabha, Sri Anantha Padmanabhaswamy temple.

This is the fifth year of the festival. Two dance recitals were held every evening.
