Rasika Ranjani Sabha, Mylapore, Chennai is a cultural organisation established in 1929. The sabha will honour senior vocalist S. Rajam for his contribution to the performing arts during its annual music and dance festival to be held at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Auditorium from January 23 to 31, 2007.

Rajam will be conferred the 'Kala Ratna' title and a cash award of Rs.25,000 (from the endowment of ARR Charities) along with a gold medal, shawl and a citation on the inaugural day of the festival. Prominent musicians will perform during the nine-day festival in January 2007.
