Want to perform in Coimbatore?
By KutcheriBuzz Staff / Chennai

Are you a young artiste seeking a place on a concert stage? Then you may want to audition for a fest in Coimbatore.

Rajalakshmi Fine Arts holds a Carnatic music festival every year starting September 1. The one to be held this year will be its fourth edition. The fest spans 15 days with over 60 concerts and is well attended in this Tamil Nadu town.

During the fest, the early evening slots are reserved for young, talented artistes. These concerts are held from 4pm to 5.15pm daily. Those who wish to be featured in these slots must appear for a test done by a screening committee consisting of five people. The test lasts for about 20 minutes and accompanying artistes are provided locally.

This year, the tests are to be held on June 15 and 24. While 'A' grade or 'B High' grade AIR artistes can send a cassette of recently perforned songs, the rest should appear in person for the screening test.

For more details please contact Rajalakshmi Fine Arts at No.10, Kalingarayar Street, Ram Nagar, Coimbatore- 9. You can also email at contact@rajalakshmiaudio.com
