Neelambari Fine Arts, an association of rasikas of violin maestro Lalgudi G. Jayaraman is launching a project to document the life and music of the veteran violinist.
A documentary film on Lalgudi is to be directed by well known cinematographer Madhu Ambat.
The documentation of archival material on Lalgudi, as a violinist, vocalist, teacher and music composer, will be co-ordinated by Prof. Ramanathan, former Head of the Dept. of Music, Madras University, Karaikudi Subramanian, Founder and Head of Brahadhwani and Sujatha Vijayaraghavan, a connoisseur of Bharatanatyam.
Rasikas and music organisations from around the world are invited to contribute archival material on Lalgudi, like audio recordings, videos, photos etc., towards this project.
