Honours for S. Rajam |   |

Chennai based Sruti Foundation honoured veteran musician-painter S. Rajam with the 'Vellore Gopalachariar Memorial Award' on 10 February, 2006 in Chennai.
The award function was followed by a talk on S. Rajam's life and work by writer and arts historian Sriram.V
The Vellore Gopalachariar Award has been instituted by mridanga vidwan Vellore Ramabhadran in memory of his father the late Vellore Gopalachariar.
