A special postal cover in commemoration of the 115th birth anniversary of well known composer Papanasam Sivan, was released on February 3, 2006 in Chennai.
Vatsala Raghu, Principal Chief Post Master General, Tamil Nadu released the cover and lyricist Valee received it. A vocal concert by S.Sowmya was held on this occasion.
