Natyarangam, the dance wing of Narada Gana Sabha is organising 'Natya Sangraham', a camp for dancers and dance teachers from February 17 to 19, 2006 at Thennangur, near Vandavasi, off Chennai.
The temple town of Thennangur houses a Pandurangan temple and the camp will be held within the temple premises.
The annual three-day workshop is the seventh consecutive camp hosted by Natyarangam. Senior dance guru Prof. C.V. Chandrasekhar will be the Convenor. There will be other eminent resource persons too from the field of dance, poetry, music, costuming, stagecraft, yoga and dance-related fields.
Eligibility for participation: dancers aged 18 years and above, with at least five years of experience as dancer after arangetram, or as dance teacher.
Application forms are available at the Narada Gana Sabha office. Last date for submission of application is 8 February.
