Chennai based Srishti's Carnatica Private Ltd., recently released a set of CDs and DVDs at an event in Shastri Hall, Chennai, recently.

'Tyagaraja naada yoga vaibhavam' (DVD) is an explanatory concert album of Ekaika Kriti Ragas, of Saint Tyagaraja. The DVD features a live recording of Prof.S.R.Janakiraman's concert at Narada Gana Sabha, Chennai, held in January 2005. Price - Rs.350.

A video on Bharathiyar songs is another new release. This DVD titled 'Gems of Mahakavi Subramania Bharathi' features S.Sowmya, with Embar S. Kannan on the violin and Neyveli R. Narayanan on the mridangam. The DVD is priced Rs.350.

DVD on Tyagaraja's Ghana Raga Pancharatna kritis features vocalists K.N. Shashikiran, Sikkil Gurucharan, V.Pradeepkumar, C.R.Vaidyanathan, Nisha P.Rajagopal, Amritha Murali, Ranjani Hebbar and K.Gayathri with Akkarai Subbulakshmi on the violin and B. Ganapathiraman on the Mridangam. Price: Rs.350.
