| Kalakshetra to get new Director |   |
| The tenure of S. Rajaram, as Director of Kalakshetra will come to an end soon. The process of choosing his successor is on now. Interviews with those who have aspired for the post were conducted. Many well known artistes-teachers associated with Kalakshetra were interviewed. A senior performing dancer who studied at Kalakshetra is tipped to be Rajaram's successor. The Director has to manage the affairs of three institutions - Kalakshetra, the U.Ve. Swaminatha Iyer Library and Besant Arundale School. |
