Chandrasekharendra Sangeetha Educational Society presented their 6th annual festival and Thyagaraja Aradhana series from 3-7 February 2005. The concerts included performances by D. R. Ganesh (disciple of Maharajapuram Santhanam), Malladi Brothers Sriram Prasad and Ravi Kumar, Priya Sisters Shanmukha Priya and Hari Priya, T. N. Seshagopalan, and Jayalakshmi Santanam.
In addition there were performances by upcoming artistes of the twin cities, such as Duddu Radhika, and Alladi Aiswarya (disciples of D. Raghavachary), Smitha Sisters Madhumita and Sushmita (disciples of Violinist Poosarla Dwaram Manorama) and Mahalakshmi (disciple of D. Seshachari).
The Thyagaraja Pancharatna Goshti Ganam was held on Febuary 6. The concerts held at Keyes Girls High School in Secunderabad, were well attended by rasikas of the twin cities.
South India Cultural Association (SICA) organised a mandolin concert by U.P.Raju, a disciple of Palakol Guru R. Subbaraju at Ravindra Bharathi on 8 February 2005. He was accompanied by H.N.Bhaskar (violin), P. Satish Kumar (mridangam) and Adambakkam Sankar (ghatam).
