Papers invited for seminar on music / Chidambaram 
Annamalai University will be conducting a seminar on Carnatic music on March 7 and 8, 2005. This seminar is being organised by the Department of Music, Annamalai University and is sponsored by UGC.

The organisers invite papers on topics related to Carnatic music like music forms, raga lakshanas, nature and scope of ragas, aspects of manodharma sangita, composers, concert format etc. Abstract of presentation not exceeding 250 words should reach the organising secretary before February 20. Selected papers will be presented at the seminar by the respective candidates.

The seminar will be presided by musician O.S.Thiagarajan, Dean, Faculty of Arts, Annamalai University and musician Radha Bhaskar.
