| Doordarshan's special shows on Thyagaraja Aradhana |   |
| Chennai Doordarshan will feature a 'live' telecast of the 'Pancharathna kritis' to be rendered on the occasion of the 158th Thyagaraja Aradhana Festival at Thiruvaiyaru, near Thanjavur, south India. The programme will be telecast on DD -1 / Podhigai, from 8.30 am to 10 am on Sunday, January 30, 2005.
Also, the episode of 'Rasikapriya' an arts programme, on January 30, at 8.30 pm, will be dedicated to Saint Thyagaraja. As a tribute to MS, the programme will feature Thyagaraja kritis rendered by her at Thiruvaiyaru during the Aradhana festivals. This wiil feature recordings from Doordarshan's archives.
