| The annual Thyagaraja Aradhana at Thiruvaiyaru, near Thanjavur in South India will be held from January 27 to February 1, 2005.
The Bahula Panchami falls on January 30, when the aradhanai and the group singing of Pancharathna kritis will be held. Musicians who wish to participate can write to the Secretary, Sri Thyagabrahma Mahotsava Sabha, Narada Gana Sabha complex, 3rd floor, No.314, T.T.K. Road, Alwarpet, Chennai - 18. The sabha is headed by G. Rangaswami Moopanar, President, Thyaga Brahma Mahotsava Sabha, Moopanar Bungalow, Sundaraperumal Koil Post, Kumbakonam Taluk. Violinist Kunnakudi Vaidhyanathan and thavil artiste Haridwaramangalam Palanivel are the sabha's secretaries.
