| Sandesha's summer course in Mangalore |   | |||
| Sandesha Foundation for Culture and Education, Mangalore organised a 3-week summer course in arts in April at Mangalore. About 230 students participated. The participants were from all over Mangalore and from Goa, Belgaum and Sirsi.
Sandesha runs the Karnataka Kala Kendra to train students in performing arts and the Sandesha Fine Arts College (affiliated to Mangalore University and recognised by the Government of Karnataka) which offers a three year B.A., degree course in Bharatanatyam, Carnatic Vocal and Western Classical Music (Instrumental). Fr Denis D'Sa is the Director of Sandesha which is under the auspices of the Karnataka Regional Catholic Bishops Council.
