The Khajuraho Festival of Dances in Madhya Pradesh, is scheduled between February 25 and March 3, 2004.
It features classical dance performances against the spectacular backdrop of the floodlit temples. And it is the setting sun that forms the backdrop for the dancers.

March 1: Shantarati Mishara, Mumbai - Kuchipudi, Manipuri Nartanalaya (Kalavati Devi), Calcutta - Manipuri;
March 2: Meera Dass, Cuttack - Odissi, Repertory of Mayurbhanj Chhau (S.N.A. project, New Delhi) - Mayurbhanjchhau
