Flute Ramani's Mother passes away
 
Saradambal, aged 91, passed away after a brief illness on June 5, 2003.

She was the daughter of late Azhiyur Narayanaswamy Iyer, the flute Vidwan. She was the mother of Flute N. Ramani.

Saradambal was an eminent teacher of Carnatic vocal and instruments like violin, harmonium and veena.

She is survived by son Ramani and three daughters.

Her family resides at 18/10, 2nd Link Road, C. I. T. Colony.: 24993217.
