The Khajuraho Festival of Dances in Madhya Pradesh, is scheduled between 25 February and 3 March this year.
Khajuraho, known for its scintillating temples is located in central India. Once the capital of the great Chandela, the quiet village houses about thousand people.
The prestigious dance fest held here features the best classical dancers of India who perform against the spectacular backdrop of the floodlit temples. And it is the setting sun that forms the backdrop for the dancers. With international status under the Government of India programme, this seven-day extravaganza is a unique treat for connoisseurs from all over the world.
