Since Natyanjanli 2002, Kutcheribuzz has worked closely with the fest. Last year, a folk festival was organised on the main road, close to the temple. Artistes from south Tamil Nadu performed every evening providing a different art form to visitors. A kolam display was also hosted in the evening.

The folk festival, in association with the South Zone Cultural Centre, Thanjavur, and the kolam contests will be held this time too. A photo exhibition on dancers is also on the cards.

Kutcheribuzz also plans to organise picnic tours to temples /scenic spots in the forenoon for a small fee.
