Navadhisha – New Voices in Dance – is an annual conference for dancers and is held during the December Season Music season. It was initiated in 2017 by Trinity Arts Festival.

The 2019 edition is to be held on Dec. 8, 9 and 10 December, daily noon onwards at Rasika Ranjani Sabha in Mylapore. It has been convened by Apoorva Jayaraman.

This is the schedule -
8th December: Syntax of Dance Literature
12:00 pm: Inaugural presentation - "How to read a poem?" by poet Arundhathi Subramaniam
12:30 pm: "Form and Syntax of Telugu Poems" by renowned Telugu scholar V Narayana Rao
1:20 pm: "Is there such a thing as a dance poem?" by Dr S. Raghuraman

9th December: Syntax of Dance Narrative
12:10 pm: "Don Quixote in Kathakali" by B. Hariharan
12:40 pm: "Life of Pi in Bharatanatyam" by Ganesh Vasudeva
5 pm - 7pm: Workshop on Hastas by Dr S Raghuraman - "Evolution of Hastas through the Tamil Performing Texts" (by pre-registration only, through email)

10th December: Syntax of Solo Choreography
8:30 am - 11:30 am: Workshop on Hastas by Sandra Pisharody - "A Primer to Hastalakshana Deepika" (by pre-registration only)
12:10 pm: "The craft of making dance" by Priyadarsini Govind
12:50 pm: "Exploration of alternate literature in solo format" by Mahati Kannan
1:20 pm: "Exploration of alternate literature in solo format" by Karuna Sagari
1:50 pm: Parisodanai, an experiment expanding dance vocabulary - Sandra Pisharody, Ganesh Vasudeva & Mahati Kannan
