Post-Doctoral Fellowship for Mohiniattam artiste

Well known Mohiniattam dancer Dr. Neena Prasad was recently awarded a Post Doctoral Research Fellowship by the Department of Dance Studies, University of Surrey, for the project 'Post colonial Identity Construction'.

Neena Prasad is working on the evolution of the protagonist or Nayika in Mohiniyattam during the post colonial period. The project is a joint venture of the University of Roehampton, SOAS and the University of Surrey.
