Young artistes treat rasikas / Washington

Young artistes Radhika Rajesh (vocal), Sandhya Srinath (violin) and Srinath Bala (mridangam) treated the music lovers of Washington metropolitan with a music concert on June 11, 2005. The occasion was a chamber music concert arranged regularly by Dr. Sita and Dr. C. R. Krishnamoorthi, ardent enthusiasts and avid promoters of Carnatic music.

Radhika flashed our memories to the legendary GNB, when she sang his composition Neevalayinche in ragam Chaayaranjini and again to MLV, when she performed the swarams in three segments vamadeva, parvathi and sukumara in Deekshitar's composition Swaminatha in Nattaai.

Radhika, Sandhya and Srinath brought out a delightful blend of music.
